Description
The historic Old Bridge in Florence, Italy, with its reflections on the River Arno, and the dark blue sky, getting ready for the rain. Built around the year 966, Ponte Vecchio, or Old Bridge, was the only bridge across the river Arno until 1218 in Florence. Since the 13th century, there had been all kinds of shops, but in 1593 it was decreed that only goldsmiths and jewelers could have their shops over the bridge.
