Description
Located in the Pisa Province, Tuscany, Italy. According to history, the Tower of Pisa started to lean after the second floor was being constructed, in the year 1178, due to a small foundation built on weak subsoil. It took a couple of centuries to be completed, and many more years attempting to fix its tilt. Engineers said, in 2008, that the tower is stable and not prone to collapse for at least 200 years. I visited this dazzling place and was totally awestruck by all its beauty, as well as its history!
