While hiking in the woods, I found this formation, which I don’t quite know what it is, but it’s certainly life growing from the remnants of a tree. I immediately got reminded of Lavoisier’s quote “ Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed”! I cheerfully named it “Woodhenge” :-)
