During my recent trip to Venice, Italy, I toured the canals by gondolas and having a great time! The gondolas are Venetian rowing boats with flat bottom, perfect for the Venetian lagoon, and the gondoliers are their oarsmen. They are one of the biggest tourist attraction there. It is also a great way to appreciate the architecture and see the buildings from this magnificent viewpoint.
